Laura Ingalls Wilder was an American writer. She became prominent for her Little House on the Prairie series books. It is a series of eight biographical children's books written by Laura about her own childhood.
The book names of the series are : Little House in the Big Woods, Little House on the Prairie, Farmer Boy, On the Banks of Plum Creek, By the Shores of Silver Lake, The Long Winter, Little Town on the Prairie and These Happy Golden Years.
Little House in the Big Woods and Little House on the Prairie focuses on Laura's life when they were in a small home near Pepin, Wisconsin. Farmer Boy, which is the second book of the series is about the childhood of Laura's future husband, Almanzo Wilder.
